Non-surgical Facelift Options

At The Skin Care Center at Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery, we have a number of non-surgical facelift options, including “liquid facelifts” in which carefully placed injections of fillers and Botox can help lift the face and reduce the signs of aging in less than an hour. While there may be some swelling or bruising, usually patients can return to work immediately following the injections.

Another state-of-the-art non-surgical lifting treatment is Ultherapy. Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin, and brow. It also improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. As the skin tissues of the region are tightened, the appearance of age and fatigue fade, replaced by a look of firmness, beauty, and youth. Ultherapy is also an excellent way to maintain and prolong the results of a facelift, neck lift or eyelid surgery. It also is a great treatment to use in conjunction with a PDO thread lift.

The Skin Care Center at Gulf Coast Plastic Surgery also offers PDO Thread Lifts. This is a relatively new type of non-surgical facelift. Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are a special medical-grade thread that is thinner than human hair. When precisely inserted, these threads stimulate the production of new collagen in the skin. Unlike previous thread lifts, that used thicker materials that sometimes were visible or could be felt under the skin, PDO threads are completely nondetectable. The results are immediately visible and continue to improve in the months following treatment. The effects last about two years. Collagen-stimulating treatments like Ultherapy can help extend the results of a PDO thread lift.

Brittany did filler, botox, and improved an acne scar for me all in one sitting. Pain free. She really hit the mark! Getting filler can be scary, it’s your face! You dont want to be overfilled but feeling under filled is disappointing. It was subtle enough that my best friend commented that they really had to look to tell, but enough to make me feel more confident.
